Hayley Williams Newspaper



GOALS

Hayley Williams is my hero and an overall badass, leading me to creating a typographically-experimental newspaper that would encompass her art and essence. I wanted to express who Williams is besides just the frontwoman and songwriter for the pop-punk band Paramore.
OUTCOMES

I had many successes and failures throughout this project, and I still have a long way to go before it will be at the success level that I want it to be at. This project is what opened my eyes to what can make graphic design successful, and after getting a taste of triumph, I realized that I don’t want to create unsuccessful design work. You’re probably thinking, “duh,” but creating this project raised my standards of what I am able to accomplish, and I am at the point where I know that I am educated and capable enough to create great design. I embrace my failures and unsuccesses, but now I want to take greater risks with the chance that I will be able to design something great.

STRIVE


I had the honor of creating a logo and branded deliverables for YWCA of Lubbock’s STRIVE program that provides young people with opportunities to learn more about how to be successful in their adult lives. STRIVE stands for Strength, Teamwork, Respect, Individuality, Vision, and Excellence.

I wanted the logo to reflect the strength and boldness of young people, as well as their individuality and openmindedness.

Red Raider Sports Magazine


I redesigned the logo and designed Volume 28 Issue 1 and 2of Red Raider Sports Magazine to give it a fresher look.

The previous issues of the Texas Tech magazine had more of a casual look, resembling the style of Sports Illustrated and being made up of design choices that make it blantantly look like a sports magazine. I wanted to design the new Red Raider Sports Magazine in a way that allows it to stand alone as a unique college sports magazine that looks more like a serious publication with a more modern and upscale design.












Gold Rush Vinyl Templates


GOALS

Create pricing templates that will streamline the process of sending quotes to potential clients.

Brand and add instructions to current album artwork templates to minimize client error when sending us their album art. Almost all art files sent to us were sent incorrectly and would have to be sent back to the client.
OUTCOMES

Potential clients were able to get pricing quotes faster and in an easy-to-understand format.

Almost every art file sent to us was correctly formatted into the templates and could be immediately sent off to the printer.
